This political cartoon features two men observing a "Haven't You Had Enough? Vote Republican" billboard. One man exclaims, "Yes, we had enough under Hoover." Herbert Hoover, a Republican, served as U.S. president during the onset of the Great Depression. At the bottom of the cartoon a note from the editor reads: "The Republicans are Placing Signs Like this Billboard Above All Over the State of West Virginia. Democrats, Do Not Let These Signs Influence You! We Say Unto You, 'Watch!'"
