America's Unions of Today

The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) is a democratic corps believed to operate the largest training organization for its members outside of the U.S. military. They are a collection of 56 national and international labor unions that represent approximately 12.5 million working men and women.  They are motivated to keep good paying jobs in America and holding corporations accountable for their actions. They work to protect worker rights and make conditions safer. Their sole purpose is to advocate for fairer wages, give workers a voice on the job, and ensure family-supporting pay with health benefits and pensions/retirements.
